  1. Day 1 Arrive in Siliguri

The first day of the tour is for you to reach Siliguri and check in to your hotels. If you have sufficient time left, we will collect your motorcycles and check them for any defects or modifications to be done. Today you will spend time with your tour leader who will answer any questions you might have and introduce you to the tour.

  2. Day 2 Stay in Siliguri

After a hearty breakfast, you will take a small ride around the city to get used to the traffic in India. It will be an interesting experience as you figure out the road rules, unsaid rules, and dynamics of our roads. After your riding experience, we have lunch and then you have the rest of the day to yourself. You can choose to rest, work on your motorcycle, ride around the city, or go shopping. But we recommend you to rest as much as possible.

  3. Day 3 Siliguri to Darjeeling (40 miles, 3.5 hrs)

It’s the beginning of our trip as we head towards Darjeeling, famous for producing some of the best teas in the world. It was once a summer resort for the British Raj and is famed for black tea grown around the slopes dotting the region. We ride through lush green landscapes, stunning tea estates, and enjoying freshly made tea along the way.

  4. Day 4 Darjeeling to Gangtok (60 miles, 4.5 hrs)

This day takes us away from West Bengal and to the capital city of Sikkim, Gangtok. It is the cultural, economic, and art capital as well known for its exciting Christmas concerts. The ride is short and by lunch, we should be able to check into our hotels. Post that, we meander along the popular MG road, tasting local food and shopping.

  5. Day 5 Stay in Gangtok

Lots of places to see nearby and a terrain that you will love to ride around. Visit the Tsomgo lake, Rumtek monastery, Baba Mandir, and many other lovely sights.

  6. Day 6 Gangtok to Lachung (75 miles, 5.5 hrs)

We ride higher into the Himalayan range, to a rustic village Lachung. Located close to the Tibetan border, Lachung is located at an elevation of 9,600 feet and was once a trading post between Sikkim and Tibet. British explorer, Joseph Dalton Hooker, called Lachung the most picturesque village in Sikkim!

  7. Day 7 Lachung to Lachen (30 miles, 2.5 hrs)

We ride towards the West of Lachung to the village of Lachen, located at 9,000 feet. The villages of Sikkim provide you insights into how the locals live, in remote regions surrounded by heavenly landscapes and stunning views of the Himalayan mountains.

  8. Day 8 Stay in Lachen

We spend the day in Lachen, relaxing and exploring the village. There are some short off trail rides we can explore and the schedule for the rest of the day is flexible.

  9. Day 9 Lachen to Phadamchen (100 miles, 8 hrs)

This is one of the most exciting trips as we head down the head-spinning section of Zuluk, known for its twisties and the gateway to Nathang Valley. From Lachen, we set up camp in Phadamchen located 160km away.

  10. Day 10 Stay in Phadamchen

We spend the day in this tiny hamlet, exploring the nearby destinations. A short ride out of the village takes us to a couple of monasteries, down the twisties, and then back up again to get back to our hotel.

  11. Day 11 Phadamchen to Ravangla (60 miles, 5 hrs)

Ravangla is a small tourist town located at an altitude of 8.000 feet in towards Western Sikkim. Ravangla is one of the few places in Sikkim which offer undisturbed views of the Greater Himalayas (Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Pandim, Mt. Sinialchu, Mt. Kabru).

  12. Day 12 Stay in Ravangla

First thing in the morning, we headed to The Buddha Park, a Buddhist temple offering panoramic views of Mount Kanchenjunga! Located on a small hillock, the Buddha Park is a must do experience full of gorgeous winding roads, amazing landscapes and roadside cafes selling yummy local food.

  13. Day 13 Ravangla to Yuksom (35 miles, 3.5 hrs)

We continue our ride towards the westernmost part of Sikkim, to the village of Yuksom located as the base of the might Kanchenjunga. A calm and peaceful place, this is a base camp for many trekking trips in the region. The quaint village can be covered on foot.

  14. Day 14 Yuksom to Kalimpong (65 miles, 5 hrs)

It’s time to leave Sikkim and start our ride back towards Siliguri. But on the way we stop at Kalimpong, a small hill town located at the foothills of the Himalayas. Perched on a ridge above the Teesta River, it’s home to colonial-era buildings like MacFarlane Memorial Church, named after a Scottish missionary.

  15. Day 15 Kalimpong to Siliguri (45 miles, 3.5 hrs)

The tour is almost over and time to head back to Siliguri. After breakfast in Kalimpong, we ride along the Teesta river to head back into Siliguri. On reaching Siliguri, we return the motorcycles. If you have a flight to catch, we drop you to the airport. Else you can choose to relax or visit the city markets.

  16. Day 16 Depart from Siliguri

This is the last day of the tour. All motorcycles will need to be returned and post check out, we will escort you to the airport.

Every tour is personally delivered by both our trip leaders, who will be your tour guides and trip leaders respectively. Along with this, if required you will be accompanied by a mechanic and a driver. Here is an intro to our team

The choice is entirely yours. Once you contact us we can provide you with a list of motorcycles from brands such as Royal Enfield, Bajaj, KTM, BMW, Hero, Honda etc. Pricing will depend on the motorcycle you select.

We encourage our guests to experience the local cuisines of the destinations we travel to. In remote areas, we might not get options for eating different cuisines. We will ensure you get wholesome, tasty and hygienic food wherever we go. If you are from outside India, here’s a guide to get you going.

Himachal Pradesh is a mountainous state, so most roads are a bit narrow with no dividers. The road condition will be a mixture of tarmac, dirt roads and rocky roads due to the weather conditions and altitude. But you will love riding through the state as its ever changing landscape is stunning, with plenty of sights to see.

Well, we will provide you with bottled water throughout the tour.

We try to blend in homestays, hotels, and resorts in each destination to balance comfort with the local experiences. All your accommodations will be clean, hygienic, comfortable and safe.

No, we have back-up vehicles on all our tours that will carry your luggage for you. But you should carry your valuables like a passport, cash, camera, and other important equipment with you all the time. If you like, we can provide you with some

While riding, we should have access to public toilets/hotel toilets. But there will instances where there are none and you will have to answer nature’s call in nature.

Yes, you can, and for pillion riders, we have a reduced tariff.

Ideally, they should be riding with you on your motorcycle. But occasionally, they can travel in the back-up vehicle. Back-up vehicles are primarily for support staff and to carry your luggage, motorcycle spares, and tools. Each back-up vehicle acts as a support vehicle and will always tail the group maintaining a certain time distance.

Different countries and companies have their own policies, but you should pick one that covers you for your entire period of travel. The policy should also cover you for riding motorcycles, unexpected curtailment of the holiday, medical expenses arising overseas, loss or damage to luggage & property and personal liability claims against the participant, and emergency evacuation. We highly recommend this for foreign citizens.

We carry a basic first aid box with us and encourage you to carry your own medicines as well. In case of an emergency, we take you to the closest available medical center. We would also request you to share any pre-existing medical conditions and allergies if any with us.
